To be or...

Post by Ex-Member on Sun Jan 04, 2009 8:42 pm

Not to be. That is the question.

And really, that's what I'm asking.

These days, we see "stereotypes", "victims" and "bullies" all around. Unlike the masses who shrug it off, I am willing to admit to my cruel and deceptive self. After all, I'm only human.

However, according to such masses, acceptance of one's self (one's bad self, in this case) is wrong. How, may I ask, is it wrong? Isn't acceptance itself a human value we created? Various sources (the masses) have argued with me that it isn't a human value at all. And don't go with the "it depends" explanation. That's a variable that cannot be counted in, for we are all the same, and we all are different. Oh, and by human value, I mean mankind itself in general, and his mind, wars, love, morals and all.

So what the heck on earth is a human value? Kindness? The masses probably agree to that, but they're only being hypocrites. Without acceptance, there is no kindness. That's why we have "bullies" and "victims" in the first place.

Fooling myself or fooling another, here's what I would like to discuss.
*Possible spoonfeed time*
-What is a human value?
-What are the human values of today?
-What is a bully? Are you one?
-What is a victim? Are you one? (And if you pick this one, do explain WHY. No "it's because that's just how it is" or "because I'm weak" or anything like that. DO GIVE A REASONABLE ONE.
